ACSE topics cover a wide range of issues related to software and hardware development, computer technology as well as their application. Each seminar is unique, its subject is not repeated.
In the framework of ACSE the following lessons are possible:
Lecture is a lesson mostly focused on theoretical knowledge.
Master-class is a lesson focused on practical work; for efficient work during a master-class participants should bring their computers with preinstalled software indicated in an abstract on the master-class.
Training is a lesson focused on practical work, but as opposed to a master-class during a training the practical work is being demonstrated on a lecturer’s computer, i.e. a training is used in cases when necessary software can’t be installed to computers of participants; a lesson on either psychological or management aspects of professional activities is also called “training”.
Workshop is a lesson that combines either a lecture and a master-class or a lecture and a training.
